Dr. Steven Fuller


Dr. Fuller attended Michigan State University where he received his B.A. degree in music literature, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physiology, and D.O. degree in human medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and his Pulmonary and Critical Care training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He remained at Johns Hopkins as an associate in the physiology department for several years after completing his Fellowship. Throughout this period of academic scholarship, he published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals in the areas of the pulmonary circulation as well as determinants of airway reactivity in the lung.

Dr. Fuller was in private practice in Annapolis, MD for 5 years and then practiced as a Critical Care Specialist in the Washington, DC area for 10 years with a focus on the post-operative management of patients undergoing open heart surgery. He next assisted in the development of an Intensivist program in a Baltimore hospital before moving to Idaho where he was in private practice and also practiced Critical Care Medicine.

During his career, Dr. Fuller has held Medical Directorships in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital, rehab facility, skilled nursing facility, a pulmonary function department, as well as several Home Health and Hospice agencies. He has now redirected his medical focus towards improving healthcare delivery and health management of the elderly living in Independent and Assisted Living Communities. He developed Illumination Analytics specifically for Assisted Living Communities in order to enhance health management and provide objective measures of care excellence in this setting.
